Sydney’s CommsForce joins US test firm Trilithic for HFC network expansion
Sydney telco solutions provider CommsForce has entered into an exclusive partnership agreement
with US-based telco test equipment provider Trilithic, enabling it to sell and service Trilithic
test products and develop HFC-specific training modules in Australia.
Under the partnership, CommsForce will be responsible for all of Trilithic’s technical support,
installation, warranty, maintenance and aftersales services. CommsForce noted that the
collaboration would also allow it to facilitate increasing market opportunities with NBN’s
DOCSIS 3.0 and 3.1 rollouts.
Based in Indianapolis, Trilithic specialises in delivering emergency alert systems as well as
HFC broadband instrument innovations, signal level measurement, leakage detection and
reverse path maintenance services.
“By partnering with Trilithic, CommsForce can now provide a comprehensive range of
products and services to satisfy growing market demands and leverage our existing supply contracts
with Telstra and NBN,” said CommsForce sales director Rocco Losurdo.
